A little garden is the dream of everyone. A garden beautifully decked with wonderful range of garden plants, different types of garden furniture, a garden fountain, and a fascinating garden pond must be the dream of everybody, who has panache for beauty and nature.
Garden is a place, which serve a great range of purposes. If you are an earnest gardener in your mind then a garden can act as an effective base to represent all the sublime flair of recreating your own piece of paradise on earth.
The dream of a garden begins with the thought of small birds catching on cool water of your fountain, clouds of dew hazing upon your woods, bright colorful fishes playfully moving amidst the tangle of small water plants.This begets a dream, a dream of having a small little garden.
There are certain things that wemust put in our mind, while setting up a garden pond. They are,
- The shape of the garden
- To decide upon how to adorn the skirting of the garden pond.
- The placement of the garden is also very important, as it should be placed in such a position that a nice view of the entire garden and the adjacent areas can be seen.
- The garden should not been in a position which is easily accessible by animals as they often tend upon plunging into the pond and destroy the lining.
- There should be adequate shade offered to the garden as limited sun light prevents algae growth
Make your garden yourself
Just dig a hole in the place where you favorably want to have the garden. Dig the hole and cart the soil off in a wheelbarrow. You can lay of the soil up along the outer wall of the pond as you were digging it. This makes the wall higher providing the pond a deeper appearance. After you are finished with the digging, rake it to an even ledge. It will be better to lay the ledge on the top across the edge of the pond.
One can decorate and portray the beauty of the pond in various ways. One can have thick wood of jungle of cottage flowers around the pond. This makes a nice backdrop for your beautiful garden pond.
