Ingredients:
  • Light Rum
  • Dry Vermouth
  • Peach Liqueur
  • 1 Slice lime
Preparation:

Mix all the ingredients and shake well and then pour into a cocktail glass and chill well. Garnish it with a slice of lemon.

Purple Cow

Ingredients:
  • 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • 3 tbsps of Grape juice concentrate
Preparation:

Combine the ice cream and grape juice concentrate in a blender until blend until smooth and creamy.

Ham and Egg Casserole

Ingredients:
  • 2 tbsp of margarine or butter
  • 1 thinly sliced onion
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 cup cubed cooked ham
  • 2 hard-cooked sliced eggs
Preparation:

Hard boil two eggs prior to the preparation. The oven should be preheated at a temperature of 350 degree Fahrenheit. The butter needs to be melted in a saucepan at a medium heat. Then put the onions in it and fry till it becomes favorably soft. Cook for about 5 minutes and then lower the flame. Mix the flour and pour in the milk in it at a slow pace. Thus it will form the thick sauce. It takes about 3 minutes to get thickened. Remove the pan from the heat and put the pepper and the mustard and stir well so that they get evenly blended. Pour the sauce on the baking tray , which is not greased. Put a layer of ham and then a layer of sliced eggs, pour some more sauce over them and then again put a layer of ham and egg and finally cover it the rest of the sauce. Bake for 20 minutes and the casserole will be ready to be served.

Oven Baked Chicken

Ingredients:
  • 1 tbsp of margarine
  • 2/3 cup Bisquick ( a ready made mixture of flour, shortening, salt, and baking powder)
  • 1 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 ½ pounds of chicken
Preparation:

The oven should be pre heated to 425 degree Fahrenheit. Melt the margarine in the baking dish. Make a mixture of salt, paprika, pepper and bisquick. Cover the various chicken parts with the mixture and the place it over the baking tray. The baking time should be approximately 35 minutes. It is better to turn the chicken and bake it for 15 minutes and then the delicious treat will be absolutely ready.

Baked Spaghetti

Ingredients:
  • 400gms Spaghetti
  • 5 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 200 grams Grated Cheese
  • 2 Chopped Green Chilies
  • 6 Flakes Crushed Garlic
  • 2 Chopped Onions
  • 1 tbsp Tomato Sauce
  • 6 Tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp Chilly Powder
Preparation:

The spaghetti should be boiled for about 20 minutes and then kept apart. The butter should be melted in a pan and then the chopped onions needs to be added in it and should be sautéed till they become golden brown. Then the garlic and the green chilies should be added to it. The tomatoes need to be boiled for 2-3 minutes and then their skin should be removed. Put the chili powder, sugar tomato sauce and the tomatoes should be added. Soon thick gravy will be formed. The grated cheese should be mixed in the mixture to some extent and the rest should be kept aside. Then pour the mix on the greased baking tray. The rest of the cheese should be used as a topping and then it should be baked for about 30 minutes.

Fathers Day Cake Recipe

Ingredients:
  • 50 gm. Chopped Walnuts
  • 200 gm. chopped Wet dates
  • 100gm. Sugar
  • 75 gm. Butter
  • 1/2 cup Warm Water
  • 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1/2tsp. Vanilla essence
  • 75 gm. Butter
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2tsp. Soda Bi-carbonate
  • 100 gm. Flour
Preparation:

Take a round shaped cake pan, grease it with butter and rub some flour on it. The eggs should be beaten well. Strain the baking soda and the flour through a fine cloth, a muslin cloth will be fine. The dates should be soaked in ½ cup of warm water mixed with soda bi carbonate for about 10 minutes. The butter and the sugar should be mixed well until a creamy blend is formed. Add the beaten eggs, the dates and the chopped walnuts. Pre heat the oven, pour the mixture on the greasy baking dish and bake at a temperature of about 350 degree Fahrenheit for approximately 35-40 minutes. The cake will be ready. It can act as a great means to render some nice message to your dad, dipped in crème.
