Skin Nutrition is one of the essentials to provide absolute rejuvenation to your skin. They actually provide the necessary nourishment to the skin. It is not always right that if you attribute all the essential nutrients in your diet than it is very much likely to reap outstanding result within a short span of time. It is true that skin nutrition does help in adding up the desired glow to the skin but it takes a bit of time and the consequence that follows can surely leave any one spell bound. There are different cosmetics, the synthetic crèmes and lotions and even many of the natural remedies which are used for enhancing beauty. They have the ability to provide a charming appeal to the skin for sure but a proper diet rich in all requisite vitamins, minerals and other components is still the most effective way to have a long lasting healthy skin. This is another reason that at preset all skin treatment are not just based on application of cosmetic products but are also followed by a chart of balanced diet.

It can be said that skin nutrition provided to the skin from outside, for example, a potato, or a tomato or a papaya extract applied on the surface of the skin will surely render the goodness of the nutrients borne by the vegetables. On a serious note it can be said that the effect won’t last for a long time perhaps just till the next shower as the nutrients won’t be able to penetrate deep inside the skin. On the other hand if we include these components in our diet then the nutrients will be ingested into the body and will get mixed up in the blood stream resulting in greater benefit to the skin.

Another proof to this is the growing skin problems among the young crowd. The food habits of the young generation mostly tend to be junk options comprising various snacks and fast food. These foods have little or no nutrient and hence the skin suffers.

The various nutrients need to be included in the diet are Vitamins, especially C, E, A, K, and B complex and minerals like copper, iron and many more. The foods that contain them are fresh fruits and vegetables, liver, whole grains, soy products, fish, poultry products, eggs and dairy products.
