A lipstick is necessary in providing completeness to the entire make up itinerary of a woman. It is one of the most essential make up accessories. The women of all ages are very much particular about the shade of their lipsticks and have umpteen fascinations about finding out the perfect shade to wear.

Several factors need to be stressed upon while looking for a perfect set of lipstick. The color of the lipsticks have lot to do with the project ting ones personality and looks in a right manner. Therefore, the shades of the lipsticks must be selected with utmost care. There are also well-marked ways to apply the lipsticks and the guidelines must be followed earnestly as other wise it might lead to a make up disaster.

Tips for choosing the Shade

• Purple, Bronze and brown are the best color to define the personality of a woman with big lips.
• The lighter shades such as, mauve, pink, wine, berry and cappuccino make best shades for thinner lips.
• The shade of the lipsticks also varies according to the color of the skin and the hair. For example, the red, cinnamon and the brown shades well suit the brunettes. The coral, apricots, and the peachy shades are nice for the blondes. Whereas, the warm shades of terracotta, cinnamon and peachy brown are best preferable by the red heads.
• The red lipsticks make the lips look luscious and so the one who have the desire to be noticeable can use it to flaunt their versatile presence.
• A light blend of pink and red offers a natural charm.

• It is proper to use brushes to apply the lipstick as it use less amount of lipstick.
• Put a foundation as a base for the lips. It should be of the same shade as the one applied on the face.
• A lip liner should be used to outline the edges of the lip so that the lipstick shouldn’t come out during application. The shade of the lip liner can be same or darker than the shade of the lipstick. Hold your lips tight and start outlining from the center of the upper part of the lips slowly moving towards the edges. The lower lips should be outlined in the same way moving from the center towards the corner.
• Then take some lipstick in the brush and start filling the lips from the interiors to the lip lines.
• Once you have filled the entire lips, open the mouth and fill the corners evenly. No part should remain without color.
• After this, blot the excess lipstick with a tissue paper. It will also give a shimmer effect to the lips.
